That time in *Barcelona* when we hiked to the Parque de Gaudi with all our luggage.. Share a memory from a place you’ve been.
Just finished my little sister’s bridal shower invitations. Weird man.
You know how once you’re a certain amount of years out of college, you’re supposed to go through and delete or untag any of the embarrassing photos sitting on Facebook? Well I’m going to celebrate them. So here they are - you have no power over me, shameful college (and one post-college) exploits! I am awesome now and I was awesome then.
So in honor of the Facebook IPO, here are all the reasons my friends and I used it in college.
Had to give the new embed changes to Spotifya shot. Here’s my work-in-progress playlist… which I’m using Pandora for discovery for. Ridiculous.
Panorama outtakes from my last camera review.
Infographics + snark + Craigslist = AWESOME
Hey guy from Everett, Washington who made this beauty, you rule. I’ve never wanted to buy a car so badly. Craigslist, shame on you for pulling it. What, did you have too many complaints about the lack of spammy-sounded car sales ads on the site? Do you have a scam algorithm robot that can’t interpret hilarity? Fire that robot, immediately!

Damn you, Groupon
Man, this frustrates me to no end.
Every day, I see this Facebook ad on the side bar of my News Feed:

It’s a Groupon ad and I’ve never clicked on it - but whatever that blue whale thing is, it looks really, really cool. It’s some sort of water slide in a natural park I think. So I finally clicked it, knowing full well I’d just be sent to today’s Portland Groupons. But part of me just really, really hoped there’d be something there about this mythical whale.
It’s sort of become my white whale, if you will.
Well no such luck. Just microdermibrasion treatments and tapas. Same old, same old.
But I had to find this whale. So I searched “blue whale lake slide” in Google Images, and found it:

The originating page for the image is a travel site for roadside oddities, and says the attraction is in Catoosa, Oklahoma. It looks awesome.
Thanks for nothing, Groupon.
